4 slices white bread
1/2 clove crushed garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
125 ml (1/4 pint) milk
100g (4 oz) goats cheese (or camembert
1 bunch watercress lightly chopped
salt and pepper
Beat together the egg, milk, salt and pepper.
Put the oil and crushed garlic in a frying pan and heat gently.
Quickly dip the bread into the egg mixture and fry in the hot oil on both sides until golden brown.
Place all four slices on a grill pan, and arrange slices of the cheese on top of them.
Grill gently, then top with watercress
